The president of Lecce has spoken of his pride at the clubs sale of Patrick Dorgu to Manchester United . The Denmark international arrived at Old Trafford in the previous January transfer and his ability to play as a wing-back was considered crucial for Ruben Amorims 3-4-3 formation.

Since joining, there have been ups and downs for the 21-year-old. He was sent off on his first start at home, although his running power and energy have frequently given the team a solid outlet on the left win.

While Dorgu continues to find his feet in Manchester, his former club are content with how the transfer has played out, even though they did lose a key player.
