Top-seeded Robbinsville football (10-3) will go for its first state title since 2019 and 15th overall when it takes on No. 4 Wilson Prep (8-5) in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 1A state championship game on Dec. 11, at 4 p.m. at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill.

The Black Knights have cruised through the 1A West Region, averaging 50 points per game while allowing just seven points per game behind running back Kyzik Teesateskie and linebacker Ryleon Waldroup. They advanced to the state title game after defeating No. 2 South Davidson 41-7 on Nov. 28.
