The Canada Border Services Agency says officers in Manitoba seized larger quantities of illegal drugs, firearms and suspected proceeds of crime in 2025, while continuing to process millions of travellers and commercial shipments that support the national economy.

In a year-end summary released Wednesday, the agency detailed its enforcement and trade results between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31. Officers in Manitoba recorded 341 illegal narcotics seizures, including 1.05 kilograms of cocaine, 2.18 kilograms of opioids, 2.28 kilograms of illegal cannabis and 0.13 kilograms of methamphetamine.
