Netflix's hit drama series One Hundred Years of Solitude has finally revealed its season 2 release date as the story of the book continues. Based on Gabriel García Márquez's book of the same name, the story follows multiple generations of the Buendía family, who founded the fictional Colombian town of Macondo. The award-winning Netflix series has received critical acclaim.

Now, Netflix has confirmed One Hundred Years of Solitude part 2 will be released in August 2026. The teaser shows a barren tree, a sharp contrast to the lively one from part 1, as the post from the streaming service explains how "he curse of Úrsula Iguarán" will be hitting Macondo hard.
