A once-thriving darts league in Liverpool is facing collapse, prompting a key player to call for urgent action. Rising costs, a lack of venues, and a struggle to find numbers have left Monday league darts players looking for answers.

The league has been running since before 1976, and was formally known as the Tetley Walkers Darts League. Sponsorship was pulled, and the legacy lived on in the Liverpool Open Darts League. However, numbers continued to drop - 95 teams used to compete, but the number fell to four earlier this year.
