Kehlani is pushing back against criticism of Bad Bunny, who will perform during the Super Bowl LX halftime show.

The Bay Area singer spoke about the upcoming performance during an interview on Billboard's livestream this week. The Oakland native said she's excited to see Bad Bunny perform at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

"He’s about to do the Super Bowl and probably not in English at all in a time where that’s basically criminalized," Kehlani said. "That’s incredible. I think he shouldn’t say a single word in English."

Bad Bunny is a U.S. citizen from Puerto Rick and is the No. 1 downloaded artist on Spotify.

The NFL's choice to have him perform the halftime show drew criticism from President Donald Trump, but the NFL has defended its decision, saying Bad Bunny will not be replaced.
