The 49ers are in the midst of the NFC playoff push with a 9-4 record, however it's never too early to speculate who they will target in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

ESPN's Field Yates predicted the 49ers' will select defensive tackle Caleb Banks from the University of Florida with the 26th pick in the first-round in his latest mock.

Banks chose not to enter the 2025 NFL Draft and returned to Florida to redshirt his senior year. He only played three games for the Gators before fracturing his foot, exacerbating an injury he sustained back in August during fall training camp.

Yates claims the 49ers "need more disruptors on defense," and believes "Banks is the type of player who could help San Francisco put teams into less-favorable passing situations."
