A Portland man is facing sex-crime charges after a 15-year-old girl said he had assaulted her for days before she escaped.
Nicholas Matthew Tull, 23, is charged with three counts of first-degree rape, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, three counts of first-degree sexual abuse, coercion and luring a minor, court records show.
Prosecutors said the teenager had run away from home and allege that on Dec. 3 Tull offered her a place to stay in exchange for sex, and then he repeatedly abused and raped her over a three-day period.
Court records show that someone spotted the distraught teenager in downtown Portland at 10th Avenue and Jefferson Street on Dec. 6 and called police for a welfare check.
