LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A forecast of winter weather has led the Jefferson County Public Schools to cancel all Thursday activities scheduled for 7 p.m. or later.
Carolyn Callahan, the JCPS Chief Communications Officer, said the decision was made due the forecast of 2” or more of snow starting Thursday evening and lasting into Friday morning.
Callahan said the safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
At this time, Callahan said there has been no decision made on Friday’s school schedule.
