The Moundsville Police are investigating a stabbing that came during an attempted robbery outside Dunham’s in Moundsville.

According to reports, just before noon, a man attempted to rob a woman in the parking lot in front of Dunham’s, stabbed her and fled. The woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.

The suspect was described as a white male standing approximately 5 feet, 10 inches with a dark beard. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket and jeans.
