The U.S. Postal Service says this is expected to be the busiest week of the year for USPS workers as Christmas package season ramps up across the country. More shoppers are turning to online orders this month, and many are also mailing gifts to family and friends who live far away.

Though there are still two weeks left until Christmas, many shipping deadlines arrive well before Dec. 25, meaning customers have less time than it may seem.
