PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. — A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in Pima County on Dec. 4, the county's sheriff's office said.
Walter Franklin Balser, 47, was arrested and is facing robbery charges for his alleged involvement in the robbery.
On Dec. 4, Pima County deputies were called to the scene at a Western Alliance Bank near Campbell Avenue and River Road around 11:20 a.m.
According to authorities, a man dressed in all black walked into the bank and implied to the teller that a robbery was occurring. The teller then handed the suspect cash and he fled the bank.
During the investigation, detectives learned the man left the area in an older model four-door sedan.
