The driver who fled from police following a crash that led to the death of a 4-month-old child in September has been charged with murder, among other offenses, according to Wilmington police.

Maurice Brown Sr. has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangering and disregarding a signal from an officer, among other traffic-related charges, police said in a release on Dec. 11.
