SUPERIOR, Wis. (Northern News Now) - Students and staff from the Superior Middle School transitioned back to classroom learning Thursday, following the violent events that occurred at the school on Sunday.

A police pursuit on Sunday ended with a man crashing a van into the Superior Middle School, firing shots, and injuring a police officer.
The school transitioned to at-home learning and followed remote plans through Wednesday.
On Thursday, the District of Superior released a statement sharing that the transition back into classroom learning has been smooth.
According to the district, the Building and Grounds team installed a temporary entrance.
