The White House on Thursday addressed a question about bandages visible on President Donald Trump’s hand, with spokesperson Karoline Leavitt saying they were the result of the president “constantly shaking hands."
Leavitt said the Oval Office is" like Grand Central Terminal. He is meeting with more people than any of you even know about on a daily basis."
Leavitt also said Trump's daily aspirin regiment could also be contributing to the bruising.
Trump's press secretary was also asked the timing of recent cognitive tests that the president has said he has taken and "aced." Leavitt said she would provide that information at a later date.
