New Delhi, Dec 11: The Government of India on Thursday informed the Lok Sabha that four major hydropower projects, totalling 3,014 MW, are under construction in Jammu and Kashmir through NHPC joint ventures.
The figures placed before the house states that the ongoing projects include Ratle Hydroelectric Project (850 MW) with estimated cost Rs 5,282 crore is likely to be commissioned in November 2028
Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Project (1,000 MW) Estimated cost ₹12,728 crore, likely commissioning December 2026, Kiru Hydroelectric Project (624 MW) Estimated cost ₹5,409 crore, likely commissioning December 2026, Kwar Hydroelectric Project (540 MW) with estimated cost Rs 4,526 crore is likely commissioned by March 2028.
