New Mexico State interim softball coach Benet Higgs has made her first hire onto her staff, as it was announced on Thursday, Dec. 11, that Sean Mac Williams will be brought on as an assistant coach.

After the mysterious departures of former coach Kathy Rodolph and former associate head coach Cat Heifner, Higgs was left with just two graduate assistants, Alejandro Velasco and Paige Bachman, on the staff. Now, the Aggies have four softball coaches in total.
