AUSTIN, Texas — An evacuation order that had been put in place at an H-E-B grocery store in Taylor has been lifted.
The Taylor Police Department said it received a call at 1:30 p.m. Thursday reporting a bomb threat at the store located at 100 Carlos G Parker Blvd.
The shopping center was placed under the order following the threat, with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office assisting in evacuations and securing the area. Residents were told to avoid the area over the course of the order's duration, and an emergency notification was ordered and sent to the entire city at 2:05 p.m.
