SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - If you went to the Olympic Curling Trials in Sioux Falls last month, the winning men’s and women’s teams are heading to the Winter Olympics!
Team Casper defeated China in a 9-4 game last night in Kelowna, Canada, and has now booked their ticket to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
While in Sioux Falls, Team Casper beat Team Shuster, who had a 20-year win streak and appeared in every winter Olympics since 2006.
The women’s team also secured its spot on Thursday with Team Peterson’s victory over Norway.
The Olympics start February 6 and end February 22.
