MOORHEAD — Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is vulnerable in his bid for an unprecedented third term. If the state’s Republican Party wasn’t such a hot mess, it might be able to beat him.

Instead, as of Thursday, it has goofy Mike Lindell carrying the party’s banner to take back the governor’s mansion for the first time since Tim Pawlenty won a second term in 2006.

Lindell, the MyPillow guy who is an unrelenting supporter of President He Who Shall Not Be Named as well as conspiracy theories about the 2020 election being stolen, tossed his weirdness into the ring to be Minnesota’s next governor.
