FARGO — North Dakota State saw its first player declare for the transfer portal on Thursday with redshirt freshman Wyatt Osterbauer, a backup defensive end, announcing he's leaving after two years with the Bison.
The 6-foot-4, 234-pound Osterbauer, from Buffalo High School (Minn.), played sparingly in three games this season and had one tackle. He had offers from St. Thomas and South Dakota before committing to NDSU and redshirted in 2024. He'll have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
