LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A second man was sentenced Thursday in connection with a shooting outside Pinnacle Bank Arena following a Sexxy Red concert on Sept. 5, 2024.

Delshon Levering, 19, of Omaha, was sentenced to 16 to 18 years in prison, with credit for 434 days served, after pleading to second-degree assault.

Prosecutors initially charged him with first-degree assault and using a firearm to commit a felony; the assault charge was reduced and the firearms count was dismissed as part of the plea deal.

In October 2024, Levering and a 31-year-old Bennington woman were arrested in connection with the shooting in Lincoln’s Haymarket.

Investigators say the pair drove to the concert and that, as it ended, Levering fired at least seven rounds into a crowd, wounding a 19-year-old man from Om
