LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Lansing police are asking for the public’s help locating the parents of a child who was found walking by himself on Thursday.

Authorities say officers found a young boy wandering on Edgewood Boulevard near Washington Avenue.

The boy is safe with police and police are asking for help finding his family.

Anyone who recognizes the boy or knows where his family can be reached is asked to call the Ingham County Dispatch non-emergency line at 517-272-6026.
