Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt is in a local Pittsburgh hospital while dealing with a lung issue that could sideline him for some time.
However, more details are now being revealed about the injury, which could paint a troubling picture for Watt and the Steelers. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the ailment happened during treatment on Wednesday. The NFLPA has commented they are aware of the situation and has been in contact with Watt’s representation.
If Watt could not play, the Steelers would have Alex Highsmith and Nick Herbig as their starters against the Dolphins. Both of those players have started at different points this year, but they have not played a game without Watt in the lineup.
This is the second Steelers player who has gone to the hospital for a check this
