SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (KTIV) - Family Crisis Centers (FCC) is an organization that helps children and adults facing domestic violence and human trafficking. They serve 17 counties in Northwest Iowa.

Last year, alone, more than 46,000 people called the center’s hotline.

FCC staff spent over 13,000 hours supporting individuals on these calls.

Staff are available to answer phone calls and texts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

But the center also offers assistance in person.

FCC staff believe that family is the foundation for a child’s well-being, and they aim to support families in custody situations to ensure the child feels loved and safe.

That’s why they are working to make a smoother transition to shared custody of children.
