PARIS, Ill. (WAND) - No injuries were reported in a structure fire in Paris early Thursday morning.
Paris Fire Chief Zack Janis posted on Facebook that firefighters were called to a reported structure fire before 4:30 a.m. at 620 Browning Avenue in Paris, near West End and Maple.
Janis said that the Paris Fire Department used a "defensive attack" to counter the fire, which was fully contained and extinguished after several hours.
The structure was deemed a "total loss," and no one was injured, Janis added.
" I want to extend my sincere gratitude for the safe, coordinated efforts of all responding firefighters. Your professionalism, dedication, and teamwork ensured that everyone went home safely," Janis said in the post.
