ROCKFORD, Ill. — A local high school just announced it broke a fundraising record at a recent event.
Boylan Catholic High School had its 9th annual Titan Tuesday Day of Giving on Nov. 25. Titan Tuesday was described as Boylan's biggest annual day of giving, and this year, Boylan raised more than $180,000.
The funds were record-breaking, according to the school. The donations go toward helping families afford Boylan education costs.
Dean of Advancement Brandon Swanson said the support puts the school in a position to succeed in the future.
"Boylan is blessed with a community that truly believes in the gift of a Catholic education," said Swanson. " It’s days like Titan Tuesday that show Boylan is not only positioned for success in 2025, but well into the future."
