It has been one week since Border Patrol launched its immigration crackdown operation called "Catahoula Crunch."

According to NBC News, a senior law enforcement official confirms that in the first week, Border Patrol has made 111 arrests. Advertisement

In comparison, during the first week of a similar operation in Charlotte, North Carolina, 400 arrests were made.

Border Patrol has brought 250 agents to the New Orleans area with the goal of making 5,000 arrests.

It is unclear the legal status of those arrested during the first week of the operation.

This comes as immigration advocates are sharing videos online showing federal agents in Slidell over the past 24 hours.
