2 people shot at apartment complex in Atlanta's Mays neighborhood

ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating after two people were shot at an apartment complex in southwest Atlanta on Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to 803 Celeste Lane in Atlanta's Mays neighborhood, where they found two males suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the victims was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, while the other person was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

11Alive's Doug Richards is on scene and said that police are gathering at an apartment complex in the area, with some residents being kept out of the neighborhood.
