[KWWL] — It's time to finalize your Christmas gift shipping plans as the deadline approaches.

With less than a week left for shopping, the Postal Service advises sending packages by next Wednesday for delivery before the holiday. If you're willing to pay more, Priority Mail extends the deadline to Thursday, while Priority Mail Express allows shipping until next Saturday.

Remember, these are estimates, and sending earlier is always safer. For items heading outside the continental U.S., allow an extra day or two.
