The SEC released the conference’s all-freshman team Thursday, and it featured four Alabama players.
Tight end Kaleb Edwards, offensive lineman Michael Carroll, defensive lineman London Simmons and defensive back Dijon Lee Jr. all made the list.
Lee is a former five-star freshman from Carson, California. He has played in every game and started five of them at cornerback this season. Over that time, he has tallied 31 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and four pass breakups.
Carroll, also a former five-star prospect, has played in 12 games with four starts at right tackle.
Edwards has played in all 13 games, starting five of them. He’s been the primary option for the Crimson Tide at tight end with Josh Cuevas missing the past three games. Edwards has grabbed 11 passes f
