SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Siouxland Heritage Museums will be hosting A Holiday Evening at the Pettigrew Home and Museum on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

“It’s something for the whole family, you can tour the historic house and see the Christmas decorations, you can come for cookies and refreshments, we also have horse-drawn carriage rides going on around the block,” said Bill Hoskins, Director of the Siouxland Heritage Museums.

During that same time, four historic homes will be decked out for the holidays and open for tours.

“The Cathedral District is having a homes tour; tickets can be bought for that across the street from the Pettigrew Museum,” said Hoskins.

Admission is free for A Holiday Evening at the Pettigrew Home and Museum .
