SUFFOLK — Police are investigating an incident where a student brought a weapon to King’s Fork Middle School, according to a news release from Suffolk police.

Police were alerted by the school’s administration that a student was suspected to have a weapon at the school. When stopped by a School Resource Officer, the juvenile was found with a stun gun in their bag.

There were no injuries reported and charges are pending for the student. This situation remains under investigation and police did not provide any additional information regarding the identity of the student.
