The Pittsburgh Steelers are likely to be without star outside linebacker T.J. Watt against the Miami Dolphins on Monday, ESPN insider Adam Schefter said.
“My understanding is at this point, (Watt playing) would be a surprise,” Schefter said. “And it looks like the Steelers are left to make due without their standout pass rusher.”
Head coach Mike Tomlin says that Watt is dealing with a lung issue and has been hospitalized. The two parties have been in contact with one another, and Watt “is in good spirits,” but the full extent of his injury is unknown.
