WHITEHALL, Ohio — Newly released public records are revealing additional details about the investigation into Whitehall City Councilmember Gerald Dixon , who faces two felony charges: gross sexual imposition and promoting prostitution.
Within roughly 24 hours, Dixon was arrested, his home was searched and he appeared in court before being released. Police removed what they described as thousands of items from his house, including multiple laptops and digital storage devices, according to a search warrant filed in the case.
In a letter written by Police Chief Mike Crispen to Mayor Michael Bivens — and provided to 10TV by the mayor — Crispen detailed some of those seized items. The list includes a journal that Crispen says corroborates some of the accusations through Dixon’s own writin
