Days after YouTuber Ritik Chandna was arrested and later released on bail for feeding chicken momos to a stray cow at the HSVP Market in Gurgaon’s Sector 56, five Gau Raksha Dal members were arrested on Thursday for allegedly assaulting Chandna.

The row began on Saturday when Chandna (29), a resident of Gurgaon who runs multiple social media channels as ‘Doperman’ or ‘God Polaris’, filmed himself feeding a cow.

The video, which has gone viral on social media, shows Chandna purchasing a plate of chicken momos from a roadside vendor, eating a few and offering the remaining pieces to a cow. The video was shared on social media by members of Bajrang Dal and Gau Raksha Dal and drew widespread condemnation.
