In a 19-31 vote, the Indiana Senate ultimately rejected a GOP-proposed map, which passed the state House last week, that looks to dismantle two Democratic-held congressional districts, giving Republicans an advantage in all nine. It was the latest state to decide on changing its map amid a redistricting battle ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, with Trump leading the charge for Republicans.
