ARKANSAS, USA — During the past week, troopers with the Arkansas State Police made three major drug and cash seizures, leading to two arrests and the confiscation of over 850 pounds of illegal marijuana and nearly $200,000 in cash.

At around Dec. 5 at around 12:15 p.m., an ASP trooper made a stop eastbound near the 6-mile marker in Crawford County for a traffic violation. The trooper searched the trailer and found 12 large cardboard boxes and five large trash bags containing high-grade illicit marijuana with a total weight of 724 pounds.

Following the search, the trooper arrested 35-year-old Zaida Sherif Juhar of Atlanta, Georgia, who was transported to the Crawford County Detention Center and booked on felony charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance.
