A Greater Manchester road appears to have flooded again - less than three months after the street last became submerged due to a burst pipe.

Flixton Road, in Urmston , Trafford , has been seen partially underwater in new pictures taken on Thursday night (December 11). Images showed the murky water nearing people's homes near to the junction with Rothiemay Road.

It comes less than three months after the same road last became submerged , with nearby footpaths also closed by police and fire crews due to sudden flooding which hit the area in September.

At the time, water could be seen rising through what appears to be a pipe in the ground. United Utilities later confirmed the flooding was due to a burst mains pipe. Residents were forced to try and clear the water by usi
