SALT LAKE CITY — A foundation to fight homelessness has made a major donation to homeless resource centers in Salt Lake City.
The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation donated $10 million on Thursday to Shelter the Homeless’ resource centers in Salt Lake City. They announced at a press conference at the Gail Miller Resource Center.
“(The donation is) to make sure that these resource centers and this Gail Miller Resource Center will in perpetuity be able to look the way it does now, to be able to be beautiful forever and have all that it needs to be able to care for these vulnerable people,” said Josh Romney, president and chair of Shelter the Homeless.
