The biggest event in the world arrives in the Bay Area just six months from now, and the party is already getting started.

In the shadow of Levi’s Stadium, the tryouts are underway for the next big announcer for the FIFA World Cup.

NBC Bay Area’s sister station Telemundo is the exclusive Spanish broadcaster of the World Cup, and Thursday, the network cut the ribbon on its six-month campaign leading up to the matches, dubbed Tu Momento Tu Jugada (Your Moment, Your Play).

From coast to coast, the campaign will visit the nation’s largest cities to promote the World Cup and encourage community engagement.
