Anheuser-Busch plans to shut down its Fairfield plant in early 2026 as part of a restructuring of its U.S. operations. The company will also close a facility in New Hampshire and sell another in New Jersey, with production shifting to other locations. Roughly 475 workers will be affected, and Anheuser-Busch says employees will be offered full-time positions at other facilities. Those who choose not to transfer will receive severance.
