INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The redistricting bill (House Bill 1032) was defeated in the Indiana State Senate Thursday. The bill would have created a new congressional map, to make all 9 congressional seats republican, instead of the current 7-2 majority.

The bill passed in the House last week, 57-41. The bill was defeated in the Indiana Senate 31-19.

Mike Bohacek (R) - Nay

Ed Charbonneau (R) - Nay

Blake Doriot (R) - Nay

David Niezgodski (D) - Nay

Linda Rogers (R) - Nay

Sue Glick (R) - Nay

Ryan Mishler (R) - Nay

Stacey Donato (R) - Yea
