After a second day of practice for the unretired, 44-year-old Philip Rivers for the Indianapolis Colts , it appears as if he’s inching toward starting this weekend in Seattle against the 10-3 Seahawks.
No, this is not a movie; it’s just Philip Rivers’ life.
Stephen Holder, the Colts reporter for ESPN, is in Indy and has watched practice for the past two days as Rivers has shaken off the five-year rust to try and get himself in playing shape for Sunday’s pivotal game.
After starting 7-1, the Colts’ season has taken a nosedive, as they now sit at 8-5 and are on the verge of falling out of playoff contention if their losing ways continue.
