NFL fans don’t know yet if eight-time Pro Bowl quarterback Philip Rivers will be starting for the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks, less than one week after coming out of retirement.

After losing starter Daniel Jones to a torn Achilles in Week 14 and seeing backup Riley Leonard suffer a knee injury as well, the Colts brought Rivers in for a workout on Monday and signed him to their practice squad on Tuesday.

New England Patriots signal-caller Drake Maye talked about Rivers’ comeback on Wednesday. He discussed how the 17-year veteran helped him and a pair of other quarterbacks prepare for the 2024 NFL Draft 18 months ago in Mobile, Alabama.
