Women throughout Ohio involved in the General Federation of Women’s Clubs gathered Sunday afternoon at the St. Florian Event Center to take part in the Wintersville Woman’s Club’s annual Holiday Splendor event. The 23rd-annual event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the local club. Proceeds are used toward scholarships for high school graduates to help further their education, as well as to make contributions to the community and pay for expenses for club projects. The afternoon included a catered luncheon, a style show, a Chinese auction and several drawings. Guests were able to shop at the event, which had area vendors on site selling their holiday wares.
