Members of the Wintersville Woman’s Club presented those with Wintersville Fire and Rescue a monetary donation of $1,000. The gift was given to help assist the emergency services department with expenses. In addition to the check, the club gave two large trays of cookies to the department’s staff and volunteers in the past few weeks to express its appreciation for all firefighters do for their community and surrounding communities throughout the year. Those who were on hand for the check presentation included, from left, Lt. Anthony Kniszek, Lt. Aaron Mosti, firefighter Brian Moss and Wintersville Woman’s Club President Cheryl Taylor.
