Another year of N.J. high school wrestling is here.

The race to Jersey Mike’s Arena for the NJSIAA State Championships has officially begun and N.J.’s best squads will be jousting all winter for their chance at a title.

Southern

Since the NJSIAA Team Tournament expanded to five groups in 2015, Southern has won six state titles, including the last three Group 5 championships. The deed to Group 5 resides in Manahawkin until another team can pry it from their grip. Senior Anthony Mason, a Bucknell commit, was fourth in the state at 113 pounds last season.
