WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — A Wichita man is warning everyone to watch out for a scam that cost him time, money and a lot of emotional stress.

Like most of us, Gough Davis checks his mail every day. When he got this postcard a couple of weeks ago, he thought it looked like a good deal.

"For $3.49, we'll give you $100, but if you do it right now, we’ll give you another $50 in coupons," said Davis.

He called the number on the postcard. The company told him it would take the $3.49 out of his bank account for postage and then mail his $150 gift card to Walmart or Target, his choice.
