ALACHUA, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua police are working to identify a man caught on camera breaking into a vehicle to steal a gun last month.

Officers say the suspect got into an SUV in the early morning hours on Nov. 8 at a home on Northwest 136th Terrace.

The man was wearing a flannel sweatshirt and a baseball cap.

Authorities say he took a pistol from the center console.
